The sound of the fiddle has been a part of my life well before I ever picked it up. I was fortunate that music was always around our home. We had a family friend who played the fiddle and this was my first influence to the wonderful driving sound of the fiddle.

It was at the age of 4 we got my first fiddle. But something was wrong, it just did not feel right. I wanted to hold it in the other hand. So my dad had it switched over and away I went.

I have been extremely fortunate to have the vast amazing teachers that I have had. They have shaped me into the fiddle player I am today. Between my music influences, the many different teachers and the love of the sound of the Metis fiddle, I have come to where I am today.
